Here are some important information that may be useful before you buy any of our products.
Q. Can I come to your shop to buy products?
A. Our business is based online so you can buy our products online and then you will get a call from our engineers in around 2 weeks (UK customers) for a installation date convenient to you.
Q. Do I need to modify my car like cut my dashboard?
A. Typically most cars will not need to be cut, our screens fit into the original location your OEM screen or radio is and will be seamlessly integrated.
Q. Am I going to lose my original car menu and features with an Android Screen?
A. Most cars will have original features lost such as climate controls, reverse cameras, rear parking sensors. However some models of BMW, Lexus, Land Rover and Jaguar may retain their original features. When in doubt please contact us for clarifications.
Q. Am I going to lose my original car menu and features with a Carplay Box?
A. No! Our Carplay boxes retain your original system with its features - it works in conjunction with the new box.
Q. I'm not sure what system my car has, how would I know this?
A. You can typically check this in your OEM car system settings, if you are still unsure - please give us a message with your car model and year as well as a picture of your OEM system homepage and/or system information.
Q. Where are you based? And where will the item be shipped from?
A. We are genuine UK based. All items will be shipped from the UK. We have installation bases in Manchester, Birmingham, Coventry, London and Braintree.
Q. How long will my item take to come? And how much does it cost?
A. For UK customers, we offer free shipping that will take around 2 week to come. For worldwide customers, our shipping costs are provided at checkout depending on our country and will take around 1 month to come.
Q. I currently have the small screen in my car, is this compatible?
A. Yes absolutely. It is a nice upgrade for cars which have both the small screen and the large screen. Please use our pictures of other installations on the product page to see if your cars interior is compatible.
Q. Are all the necessary cables etc included in the package? Will I have to buy anything additional to make this work?
A. Everything you need to install this is included in the package. You will not need to buy anything additional to make this work. For the few cases that extra cables and looms are needed, we will contact you or it'll be included in the price.
Q. Does my car need a working AUX for this to work? And if I do not have a working AUX, what can I do?
A. Yes, your car does need to have a working AUX for this to work with your car. If your car does not have a working AUX, then there is still a easy solution which will involve retrofitting the AUX to your car. Contact us for more details.
Q. I have heard sound quality is bad on these upgrades, is this true?
A. Definitely not. The sound quality on our units are excellent. We have some of the best quality and build units on the market. Other suppliers units do suffer from bad audio due to poor build quality and internals but our units do not suffer from this, this is why we are far superior.
Q. Your products on your main website are cheaper than you have listed them elsewhere, why is this?
A. Selling platforms have high selling fees which must be covered. This is why it is cheaper when buying from our website direct.
Q. Do I have to pay customs?
A. If you are in the UK then no you do not have to pay any customs charges as the item is sent from the UK. If you are outside of the UK then customs charges may apply. In this case please check the rates with your countries customs laws.
Q. Is the unit difficult to install? Could I do it myself? Do you provide support for the installation?
We recommend using a professional to install the device. We provide full installation services for all our products. Should you want to install yourself we can provide you wiring diagrams and other information. We also have aftercare support where you may contact our engineers if you run into any issues. Please note that our aftercare support is limited and you self install at your own risk.
